As part of our celebrations for Swanage Carnival Week, we were delighted to welcome nearly 30 enthusiastic visitors to take part in this years Regatta Trophy.
It was a fantastic day on the green, with players battling it out under increasingly blue, sunny skies in high spirits. The friendly competition brought out some great bowls, fantastic sportsmanship and brilliant atmosphere throughout the morning.
At the conclusion of the event , Club President Brian Beeston presented the trophy to our 2026 champions, married couple Ann and Peter Burrell, visiting members of Pagham Bowls Club near Bognor, who triumphed in both the Men’s and Ladies events.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the event and particularly to organiser Barrie Tatman who helped make our contribution to Swanage Carnival Week such a great success.
